Viognier 2021
White Wine / France / Rhône / IGP Les Collines Rhodaniennes / 14% vol.
The Vin De Pays Viognier is a wine sourced from vineyards located outside the Condrieu appellation area. These vineyards are situated on granitic soil in the commune of Chavanay, in a place called “Les Gardes,” and on schist soil in the commune of Malleval, in a place called “Matricon.” The average yield is 40hl/ha, and the harvest is done manually. Immediately after pressing, the juice undergoes fermentation in tanks. The wine is bottled in spring. It’s a dry, rich, and highly fruity wine. On the palate, you’ll discover aromas of white flowers, exotic fruits, and stone fruits, all wrapped in astonishing complexity.
