Saint-Véran “Les Pommards” 2020 is a wine that comes from a terroir located on a northern slope of the Roche de Solutré within the Saint-Véran appellation. This unique location provides the grapes with a slow maturation process, resulting in a wine of great quality.

This cuvée is crafted in the pure Burgundian winemaking style, aging on the lees until summer in 100% oak barrels. The result is a wine that embodies the true essence of the region.

The wine has a fragrant bouquet of apricot, peaches, and well-integrated butter on the nose. On the palate, it is firm, full-bodied, and rich, with a mineral finish of gun-stones and a pleasant acidity. It is a “Grand Vin” from the southern region of Burgundy, and one of our personal favorites.
