The wine boasts beautiful deep red colour and a captivating bouquet of cherry and red fruits, enhanced by subtle notes of thyme and rosemary. The mouth is fruity and round with an amazing long finish. It’s a versatile wine that pairs well with many dishes and is perfect for sharing or enjoying alone.

Description
Château de Lancyre is an 80-hectare family-run estate located in the heart of the Pic Saint Loup. The vineyards are situated at an average elevation of 150 meters and are divided between a number of hillside plots on mainly limestone soils. The estate’s terroir is set at the crossroads between the Mediterranean and the Cevennes mountains and enjoys two pronounced influences: a warm, damp climate rising off the sea which contrasts with the dry, cold air originating from the mountains. Nestled amidst the garrigue, the grape varieties that thrive there are: Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Cinsault and Carignan for the reds and rosés, and Roussanne, Marsanne, Viognier, Carignan Blanc and Vermentino for the whites.
